‘Zen Painting No.3 ,5 Samurai.
This is the 3rd painting in my Zen series.
These are complex reduction paintings as they take a long time to make as the black shapes are effectively carved in paint until I think that they work and the painting is finished.
Each of these 5 forms has been created to try to capture the suggestion or the essence of a samurai figure outline.
This is a Zen meditation painting to contemplate into.
